Documentation for Dagospo On-line BookingDagospo on line booking for hotels, motels, hostels, bed and breakfast, inns and function halls, restaurants or convention centers, is a two tier web processing system that provides adequate options to customers looking for a comfortable place to stay and enjoy while away from home. It also encourages service-providers to be more competitive in their business, cost and quality wise. The first part is for the service providers and the second is for customers. Prior to customer visit to the booking site, the service providers that is the hotels, motels, hostels etc. enter the Content Management System (CMS) to administer the entry of requirements from customer who asks for reservation and eventualy be booked. Once submitted, if there is an available data, information is shown on the names of different establishments, room types and how many of them are available on the given dates and price at a specified place. The customer selects any room from the establishment by clicking its name. An image of the establishment is also shown to familiarize the customer. Note that the pictures are only representations of sample hotel. |

Customers have always the option to select from other places rooms to stay, because this option is always available in all of pages devoted to the customer. |

Decided on which room to choose, the customer clicks on the image of an on-line consultant for reservation and booking. |

The one-on-one chat facility pops up, and the customer enters information on reservation and booking such as name, address, email, name of room, number of rooms, start and end dates of stay. The on-line-consultant then validates and inputs customer info on the web invoice together with the information on payment. The customer invoicing facility is only available to the on-line consultant. Payment is made through GCash or Smart Wallet. Usually hotels ask for a downpayment of one half the total cost of stay. |

The customer will receive the temporary electronic receipt from the hotel which will be automatically sent to the email address provided. |

A printable copy of the electronic receipt in g-mail or any other e-mail provider should be reproduced and shown to the receiptionist of the hotel. This temporary receipt should be replaced with the official copy after the customer checks out. |
